My Approach

It's difficult to chose a therapist - looking at my photo you may be asking yourself: could I talk to this person; could I trust them with my thoughts and feelings; do they look unshockable; compassionate; caring? Will they listen with understanding and are they the right therapist for me? I offer a free 20 minute online meeting where you can try it out by having an informal chat to see if therapy sessions with me would feel like the right fit.

There are many reasons why someone might consider therapy. Issues I have worked with include:

Relationship Difficulties, Stress, Anxiety, Self-Worth, Confidence, Co-dependency, Sexual Abuse, Unresolved Childhood Issues, Trauma, Vicarious Trauma, Attachment Difficulties, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Separation & Loss, Bereavement, Work Related issues, Difficulty in Expressing and Managing Emotions.

As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist I draw on a range of counselling approaches, including: Humanistic, Person-Centred, Solution focussed, Systemic, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural, Parts Work, Gestalt, Narrative therapies, as well as incorporating elements of Coaching, Mindfulness and Somatic approaches.

I believe that people are experts in their own lives and unique individuals. Therefore I adapt my way of working to suit each person.

I work with compassion and understanding supporting people to recognise their existing strengths and helping them to achieve their desired goals.
